This new work is a continuation of 2010’s "closed circuit" series. By repeatedly shooting familiar objects in shared spaces, I attempt to make sensibly accessible the minute differences and feelings of discomfort that usually go ignored. The extremely white and flattened images resulting from monotonous shooting are printed on glossy paper and hung in the exhibition space. Deconstructing and then reconstructing the size and perspective of the objects helps to amplify and recreate the actual feeling of discomfort inherent in the landscape. The work consists of twenty-three inkjet prints of 1200 mm x 1800 mm size.
2010年より続く「closed circuit」シリーズの新作展。
限定された場所で同じような対象を繰り返し撮影することによって普段なら無視してしまうような微小な差異や違和感を視覚化する試み。単調な撮影から現れる、極端に白くフラットなイメージを高光沢のロール紙にプリントして展示空間に吊り下げて構成。対象の実際のサイズや遠近感を解体し再構成することによって現実の風景が孕む違和感を増幅し視覚化、体験化させることを目論む。
